CFRT(Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic composites) --Is based on thermoplastic resin as matrix and continuous fiber as reinforcement material, a new type of thermoplastic composite material with high strength, high rigidity, high toughness, and recyclable that is formed through resin melt impregnation, extrusion and other processes.
CFRT-UD Unidirectional belt
CFRT unidirectional tape is a single-layered, fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite sheet in which the continuous fibers are unrolled and laid and impregnated with a thermoplastic resin. It is characterized by fibers arranged parallel to each other (0° direction) without interlacing. Product width: 300mm/600mm/1200mm, can be customized.
Main applications: automotive interior and exterior trims, thermoplastic winding pipes, sports leisure, home building materials, transportation logistics, military protection, aerospace.

Using melt impregnation process produce nylon(PA)+continuous carbon fiber reinforced Thermoplastic unidirectional tape prepreg(CF UD tape)

The continuous carbon fiber reinforced PA UD tape prepreg has no stickiness on the surface, so it is necessary to use a double-belt presses for laminating processing. First, the PA UD tape is manually laid, and then laminated according to the required thickness to form a PA UD tape laminate. The lamination processing temperature is between 230°C and 270°C.
The advantages and disadvantages of continuous carbon fiber reinforced PA prepreg will directly affect the performance of UD tape laminate. The continuous carbon fiber reinforced PA prepreg has a high tensile strength to ensure the strength performance of the UD tape laminate.
